In the face of a pressing food-waste crisis, the youth emerge as pivotal actors in environmental stewardship. Astoundingly, one-third of global food production is squandered, with significant repercussions for our planet. Armed with this knowledge, the youth can spearhead change by embracing sustainable practices, redirecting resources from the staggering 1.3 billion tons of annual food waste.
Wastelink
Wastelink solves the problem of commercial food waste in India with a view to expand into emerging markets. We create a circular economy solution that upcycles food surplus and waste to animal nutrition ingredients and other products. We have created a scalable business model that can go after the 150 Million Tons of annual food waste.

Socioeconomic Initiative for Ecological AgriFood Production and Consumption (SIEAPC) is a social initiative, led by Ved Narayan (16 years), a high school student. His project emphasizes on mapping the need of entire village for food consumption and agriculture services. His project stood as a finalist in recent Global Education Fair 2023 organized by World Food Forum
